Ryan Fraser was picked up cheap from Scotland by Eddie Howe and took time to settle in at Bournemouth. He's doing a decent job now but it's true very few Scottish players make it in the PL nowadays. The top players in Scotland are mostly foreigners,Virgil Van Dijk being one of the exceptions to make it big recently in England.

If we're looking at managers at lower/lesser leagues, then we should be looking at our very own Alan DEVONSHIRE who will win the league with Maidenhead United in a much tougher league than the scottish premier league.

I'm not a fan of Rodgers. But credit where its due. They can only beat who's in front of them.
Rodgers will obviously be happy with his achievement but is he really naïve enough to get completely carried away with it? Seeing as he is the David Brent of football, he probably will.
But in the ocean that is football what Celtic do these days is a fucking wave that comes up on the shore and then disappears again. It's small-fry. Everyone knows it.
But credit to him and the players. Good achievement. Played some great football but, to be honest, good players will look like great players in that league.

There's no denying that going unbeaten for a whole season is an achievement regardless and they have played some very good football, but in reality he's landed in his feet there as there's literally no other challenger to the title at all any more. It makes the german league look super competitive
If you look at some of celtics big name recent players, every one of them either ended up there as they failed in England or failed in England when they left. They had samaras up front for years, he was shit for city. Their two current big name forwards are a guy who couldn't buy a goal in the championship and another who failed for numerous premier league teams.
So whilst he deserves credit for doing well, it's hardly like what ranieri dis last season or even, actually, what conte has done this season by galvanising a fractured squad and turning them into a well drilled machine where even Moses looks a quality player
